Ryan William Eisenzimer “Izzo,” 32, of Conrad, passed away on the morning of September 23, 2018 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. On August 21, 1986, Ryan came into this world with his enormous smile to join his big brother Tyler and his parents Laurie and Tom Eisenzimer in Sheridan, WY. Ryan grew up in the highline prairies of Conrad and graduated from Conrad High School in 2005. After school, Ryan took off to Phoenix, Arizona for golf school, but being away from home was not for him and joined his brother Tyler in Missoula where the shenanigans would continue. Ryan would eventually move back to Conrad and work here and there, but then found his calling in the oil fields as a Floor Commander working his way up in the ranks. Ryan had extreme potential in the oil fields—he was smart, determined, had great business sense in the area and set a long-term goal to become a company man a.k.a. glorified accountant, a position on the top of the oil field industry.
“Live a life you will remember!” was the quote Ryan chose for his Instagram profile bio and honestly, it couldn’t fit his life any better. Ryan was always the life of the party—lighting up rooms as soon as he walked in, making everyone laugh by being a pain in the ass, and uplifting spirits with his incredibly infectious laugh. He was also very fascinatingly proud of his creeper ‘stach and witty (maybe slightly inappropriate) one-liners, which oddly, both seemed to work most of the time.
When Ryan was home, you knew you could find him hanging out at the golf course trying to push everyone’s buttons, helping his mom around the house (or just making Laurie mad because he wouldn’t do his chores), or searching all over Conrad for his beloved dog and counterpart—the wild and crazy Deuce.
Ryan was an avid golfer and water skier in the summer and hunter in the fall, but it didn’t end there, with snowboarding in the winter. All of his friends and family that golfed with him have a story of Ryan getting under their skin during a round of golf—it really was just a part of his own game. The family ranch outside of Cascade had a large place in his heart. He was so in love with that ranch and would graciously share this favorite place of his with others. His heart was so vast and everyone around him knew it. Izzo was gone too soon from all of us but he is one that will never be forgotten!
Ryan is survived by his parents, Laurie Eisenzimer of Conrad and Tom Eisenzimer (Kelsey) of Pahrump, NV; his brother Tyler of Missoula; and his two half-brothers, Teegan and Kaden of Pahrump, NV. He also leaves his maternal grandfather Bill Walling of Helena; and his paternal grandparents, Doug and Karen Eisenzimer of Simms. He is also survived by his Aunt Mary Goyins, Uncles Jim Eisenzimer, Brian and Betty Eisenzimer and his Aunt Dawn Allen. Also, many cousins that he loved dearly and all of his close friends. Ryan was proceeded in death by his maternal grandmother Dorothy Walling; paternal great grandmother Rosemary Siemans; and paternal great grandparents Leo and Martha Eisenzimer.
Funeral arrangements are being arranged by the Asper Funeral Homes in Conrad. Services will be held on Thursday at 2 PM at the Conrad High School gymnasium with a reception to follow at the Pondera Golf Club. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider contributions to a Memorial Fund that will be used for a memorial and scholarship opportunities for future grads of Conrad High School. Donations for future grads can be made to Conrad Scholars in Ryan’s name.
