Carole Lorraine (Havens) Thielmann, 85, passed to her heavenly home into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on February 25, 2024.
Carole lived a long full life spent in Conrad. She loved spending her quiet time reading, crossword puzzles, and digging in the dirt planting flowers at her home where passers by would stop to admire.
Carole graduated from Conrad in 1956, then married her high school sweetheart, Roger Thielmann, the following February.
Together they raised five children. Carole was the endless recipient of many pranks pulled on her by her four sons. She took it all with humor and remembered it all with fond memories and laughter.
Carole loved Christmas time and made it a wonderful and memorable time of year for her children and grandchildren. She decorated every room in her house and made the most delicious candies and cookies that she shared with friends and family.
Carole was a wonderful cook of comfort foods and four of her seven grandchildren benefited from daily home cooked meals during the school year.
She loved her children and grandchildren with a big heart!
Survivors include four children, Doug (Rachel) Thielmann, Scott (Jennifer) Thielmann, Rick (Stacy) Thielmann, and Shelly (Kip) DeBoo; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; and a brother, James (Claire) Havens.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Roger; son, Kevin; and brother, Gene Havens.
She will be greatly missed but we lean on our faith knowing we will spend life eternal together some day.
Memorial services will be Saturday, April 6, at 11:00 am at Pondera Valley Lutheran Church.
