Michelle (Stocker) Bruce

Michelle M. (Stocker) Bruce, born on December 25, 1965, in Kalispell, MT, passed away on February 24, 2024. Michelle graduated from Brady High School. She was the beloved daughter of Lloyd and Lucille.

 Michelle cherished her companions: her dog Pepper, cat Loki, and her chickens, but her deepest affection was reserved for her horses.

 Known for her outgoing nature and a heart that embraced family and friends with unparalleled warmth, Michelle was a beacon of laughter and wit. Her humor was as sharp as her sarcasm, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

 Affectionately referred to as “Momma Michelle” by Chuck, Freddy, Sam, and her adopted coworkers and friends, Michelle’s nurturing spirit touched many lives.

 She battled a long, hard fight with pancreatic cancer, showing remarkable strength and courage throughout. 

 Michelle is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd; mother, Lucille; and daughter, Elizabeth.

 She is survived by her devoted husband, Gary; her cherished “mom”, Evelyn; brothers, Robert Stocker and Raymond Stocker; sister, Kari (Roy) Brown, John (Holly) Dershem-Bruce, Susan Bruce, James Grauer and Zane (Emily) Bruce; daughters, Barbara and Natalie; as well as inherited grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

 Michelle’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

 Visitation will be held Monday, March 4, at Asper/Pondera Funeral Home from 5-7 pm. Mass will be held Tuesday, March 5, at 10:00 am. A rosary will begin before mass at 9:30 am.
