Patricia Anne Bleecker was born to Anne and Bernard Zink on November 19, 1937 in Berkeley, CA. She died Friday, November 13, 2020, after an eight-month battle with cancer. She was 82 years old.

She was the oldest of seven children. On December 27, 1965 Patricia married James H. Bleecker. Together they had three sons, Jerald, Dwayne, and Eric.  Jerald, a military veteran who served in the First Gulf War; Dwayne, Knights of Columbus member of the catholic church; and Eric, a catholic priest for the diocese of Sacramento.

She was a devout Catholic, who loved her faith. Patricia was an active member of the St. Michael Catholic Church in Conrad.  While living in Sacramento, CA as a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, for many years she was in charge of the Feed the Hungry program that served the poor in the community every week.

Pat was a teacher’s aide, certified nurse’s assistant, and certified EMT.

In 2017 Pat moved to Conrad with her husband, Jim, a 1959 Conrad High School graduate and 20- year veteran of the US Air Force.

Pat was a loving wife, mother, and aunt. Survivors include her husband, Jim, and son, Eric. She is preceded in death by her sons, Jerald and Dwayne.  Pat adored her many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Friday, November 27, at 1pm at Asper/Pondera Funeral Home. Social distancing protocol will be enforced.
