Conrad

Jeff Lee Brown, age 60, passed at his home in Conrad, on June 17th, 2020.  He was born to Dick and

Barb Brown and raised in Conrad for most of his childhood.

While growing up, he was an athletic young man with a passion for things like snow skiing and moto-cross racing.  Jeff had a bit of a wild streak in him.  A daredevil who liked to see just how far he could go.  His parents may not have always appreciated this characteristic after his many trips to the ER. The mountains were one of his favorite places to be, spending time hunting and fishing.

He met Lori Dillman during high school, got married and shortly thereafter started a family.  His career took them to Manhattan, MT and then to Sidney, MT where Jeff became well known for his excellent mechanical abilities at Tri-County Implement.  He was passionate about his career and had a natural ability to work on heavy machinery and farm equipment.  More importantly, Jeff was a loving father to his kids.  He always enjoyed playing around and doing all that he could with the family. Fishing by the river and camping trips were a favorite.  He enjoyed attending his son’s hockey games and cheering from the crowd. He had a special bond with his adopted daughter that would last till the day he passed.   After the kids were grown, he made his way to Renton, WA for a time and eventually, moved back to Conrad to be closer to family.

He is survived by his brothers, Mike, Gary, and Brad; daughter, Terra with granddaughter, Avah; and his son, Braxton with granddaughter, Dani and grandson, Jeremiah.  His witty humor and kind heart will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at later date.
