Vernon Sutor

Vernon Sutor, 66, passed away on July 1, 2026, in Cut Bank, Montana. He was born on December 7, 1959, in Cortez, Colorado.

Vernon will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and hardworking man whose quiet strength and kindness touched the lives of many.

He spent 40 years working in the oilfield as a master welder and pumper. He took great pride in his work and was known for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic. Through the years, he earned the respect of those who worked alongside him.

Above all else, Vernon loved his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn; his daughter, Kristy; and his son, Josh, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jason; his sister, Joyce; and his parents, Charles and Freida.

Vernon will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of hard work, love for his family, and quiet perseverance will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
