Conrad

Shelah Nickol, born on April 21, 1973, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024. Her life was marked by adventure, compassion, and an unwavering love for family and friends.

In her early life, Shelah’s love for basketball made her a spirited member of her high school team. Later, she enjoyed riding horses alongside her aunt Pam and camping in the great outdoors, savoring nature's beauty and precious time with loved ones.

After graduating with a degree in bone and muscle studies in Billings, Montana, Shelah pursued a career as a respiratory therapist. Her path took her to the remote town of Barrow, Alaska, where she served her patients with dedication and warmth. Shelah’s commitment to her work was deeply appreciated by all who received her care.

Shelah married Roy Deshner in 1992, and together they had a son, Willis Deshner. Though they later parted ways in 1996, Shelah’s devotion to her family remained steadfast. In 2003, she married Konrad Nickol, with whom she shared many cherished memories before their separation in 2018.

Shelah is survived by those who loved her: Sandy Bell, Diane Frigge, and Denise Frigge; her beloved mother Donna Vigen; her brother Ken Frigge; her Uncle, David Ross; Aunt Pam Kramer; her nephews Cash and Ty Frigge; and her treasured grandson, Bentley Deshner, along with many cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents Wilfred and Maxine Frigge and Ina and Willis Vigen; her uncle Johnny Ross and aunt Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Streeter; her uncle Jim Ross; her cousins Jimmy Ross Jr. and Shelly Ross; and her Uncle Wes Frigge.

Shelah's love, strength, and laughter will be remembered and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
