Rosanette G. Young

Rosanette Gail Young, 65, of Kevin passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 from complications due to cancer. Memorial Services were held at Cut Bank Community Bible Church in Cut Bank on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

She was born on September 15, 1952 to Gordon and Mildred Hasselstrom of Divide County, North Dakota, near Alamo.  Rosanette was raised in Divide County, North Dakota on a farm, where she went to a country school.  She then went to Crosby High School until her sophomore year when she moved to Shelby and finished high school, graduating in 1970.  She married Mark Young of Oilmont on November 17, 1972.  The couple settled in Kevin in 1978 with their two children, Mark Shannon and Christina.

Through the years, Rosanette worked as a Certified Nurse’s aide in both Shelby and Cut Bank.  She also cleaned homes.  In later years, Rosanette worked at Northern Gateway in Shelby, The Bee Hive in Cut Bank and cleaned the Sweetgrass US Customs building.

Rosanette is survived by her husband, Mark Young; daughter, Christina Young; son, Mark Shannon Young; her sister, Cindy Mogard of Bottineau, ND; her 3 brothers, Gregg Hasselstrom of Crosby, ND, Carter Hasselstrom of Sidney, and Blair Hasselstrom of Mandan, ND; one granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
