Ronald Blomquist

Ronald O. Blomquist, 78 of Cut Bank, passed away April 11, 2024. 

Services will be held Tuesday, April 16, at 2pm at St. Anne Catholic Church in Heart Butte. Burial to follow in Hall Family Cemetery.

 Ron was born in Scobey on February 25^th, 1946.  After graduating high school, he attended Eastern Montana College.  He started his teaching career in Browning and later became principal of the high school.  

  Ron married Elaine Lunak December 29^th, 1973 in Browning.  On completion of his master’s degree, he was Superintendent of schools in Reed Point, Ryegate, and J-I.  After retiring he worked as director of Title III at Blackfeet Community College.  

  Ron and Elaine have two children, Tyler (Stephanie) Blomquist and Becky (Cole) Idland, and their children Leotie (Seth), Camden, and Adam.  

  He is preceded in death by his parents, Gorden and Marjory Blomquist, and brother Leroy.  He is survived by his sister, Carol Erbe, and brother, Rick (Gina) Blomquist.
