Riki was born on October 30, 1981 in Conrad, Montana to Glen and Corliss (Allard) Habets, as the youngest into a household of 4 older siblings. Riki was born with a passionate zeal for life that was quickly followed by extremely quick wit and humor. Her laugh was contagious and would fill the entire house. Throughout her childhood years, you could always count on finding her in some sort of mischief. Riki graduated from Sunburst High School in 2000 and went on to have many life adventures. Riki found her true love and passion when she had her son, Cole, in October of 2002. She loved cheering Cole on in all of his activities and adventures.
Riki loved all things outdoors. If she wasn’t hunting or fishing, she was camping and floating the river. Her favorite adventure, by far, was getting to go on a fishing trip to Alaska with Cole.
Riki fiercely loved her nieces and nephews and was everyone’s “go to” for help. If anything was needed, everyone knew that Riki would be there with bells on. When asking Riki how she was, you could almost always guess what her answer would be… “Living the dream!”
Riki was a friend to many, and made a lot of her friends her family, especially Chris. Riki and Chris met while working at Shopko together and a friendship quickly formed. They could be found causing mischief together, or more so Riki causing the mischief and bringing Chris along for the ride.
Riki had a way of making things fun for everybody, whether it was sitting around the table talking, playing games, or even yard and house work. Riki was someone that was always there, and if she couldn’t be there, she was just a phone call away. She will be truly missed by everyone that knew her.
Riki is survived by her son, Cole (Johnson), parents, Glen and Corliss, siblings: Rob (Kat) Habets, Carla (Danon) Smith, Steve (Janice) Habets, and Teri (Pete) Seymour, nieces and nephews: Sam Habets, Josh Habets, Kodi Smith, Blake Smith, Cambree Smith, Austin Habets, Cameron Seymour, Derrica Seymour, and Zander Seymour. Riki was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emile and Charlette Habets and Alfred and Adeline Allard.
