Raymond R. Seidlitz passed away May 26, 2022. He was the husband of Sharon (Ward) Seidlitz. They shared 62 years of marriage together.
He was born in Chester and was the son of Elle “EW” and Helen Seidlitz. He grew up in a family of nine siblings. He graduated from Chester High School in 1958 and attended Northern Montana College briefly before returning to farming in the Chester area.
Ray spent the remainder of his time on earth sharing his life with Sharon, raising their five children, and working hard to grow a crop every year and to complete a few carpenter projects. Ray and Sharon loved to dance, and Ray enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids, and his almost daily coffee with Dick Burrows.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; five children, Aden (CJ) Seidlitz, Wynnette (Shawn) Maddox, Trina (Cory) Heinzeroth, Juanita (Rod) Spicher, and Rory (Kimberly) Seidlitz; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held Monday May 30, 2022 at 2:00p.m. at our Saviors Lutheran Church in Chester, Montana.
Ray’s remains will be cremated, and his ashes spread on the family farm at his request.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Liberty County Medical Center and ambulance service.
