Nellie D. Watterud

Nellie Doris Watterud, Nell, 82, of Conrad, passed away on October 1st, 2018.

Nellie was born in Conrad MT on January 20th, 1936 to Ralph Gibbons and Lillian Whitaker.  She graduated from Conrad High School and went on to dental technician school.

Nellie married Larry Watterud on November 28th, 1959.

Nellie worked initially as a homemaker raising 5 children.  She then went on to work at the nursing home for many years as a CNA.

She is survived by her husband, Larry, her daughter, Monica, and sons Kevin and Corey. In addition, she has 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa, and son, Brian.

We the family would like to thank all the people who were so kind and important to Nell throughout the years.

A memorial service will be held for Nell at the Pondera Valley Lutheran Church Friday, October 5, 2018 at 2:00PM with an urn burial at Hillside Cemetery. Family and friends are all welcome to the Moose Lodge in Conrad to follow. A full obituary will soon be available .
