Mary Ellen Rhodes

Mary Ellen Rhodes went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2023. She was born in Coeburn, Virginia on January 25, 1925, the fifth of seven children. Her family moved to California when she was 14. She attended school and worked in a factory making supplies for the war effort. She later married and had six children. Mary was a homemaker who loved crafting and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and five siblings. She is survived by her sister Nancy, sons Dan (Karen), Art (Pam), Bob (Karen), Tom (Alice), Jack (Jane), and daughter Mary (Ben) Mathews. She had 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
