Mary Ann Fowler Inabnit was born in Conrad on June 12, 1932 to Ida (Pauli) and Walter Fowler. She spent part of her younger years growing up and attending country school east of Conrad. After moving into town, she graduated from Conrad High School in 1949. In June of 1950 she married Dale Inabnit, and the journey began. Together they built a home and raised six children. They were lifelong residents of Conrad and Manson communities.
Mary Ann was quite adventurous, loving all outdoor activities especially her horses. She enjoyed playing bridge, walking and reading a good book. She was a meticulous seamstress spending many nights sewing little girl dresses, deerskin jackets, and dance costumes. She loved her family dinners with a beautifully set table, always loving pretty things. She decorated her home and herself with grace and dignity. For many years she faithfully sang with her church choir family.
Survivors include her children, Janet King, Dan (Debbie) Inabnit, Gordon Inabnit, and Lorna (Ken) Kovatch; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and brother, Tom Fowler.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers; two sisters; son, Steve Inabnit; daughter, Donna Hilliard; daughter-in-law, Helen Inabnit; and granddaughter, Jacie King.
“Miss Mary” along with her family extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff and residents at Logan Health Extended Care for the loving care and respect shown to her and her family.
