Larry G. Watterud

Larry Gale Watterud, 84, passed December 26, 2020.  He was born in Columbus ND on June 25,1936 to Louie and Elvira (Simonson) Watterud. He was the oldest of 4 children.

Larry moved to Montana where he married Nellie Gibbons in 1959. He farmed north of Conrad for 4+ decades. During that time, they had 5 children who had the good fortune to live on the farm for the entirety of their youth.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell; daughter, Lisa; son, Brian; and brother, Wilbin. He is survived by his daughter, Monica; sons, Kevin and Corey; daughter-in-law, Krista Keiper; and sisters, Beryl and LaVonne. He was fortunate to have 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family, due to the times, weather, and pandemic, will plan to have a memorial service in the summer of 2021. Thank you for all those who helped care for him in his last years and have cared about him his entire life.
