Kerry R. Nickol
April 2, 1953 — August 12, 2016
Kerry R. Nickol, 63, left us to be with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2016. He possessed a huge heart, was generous to a fault, loved his siblings, his cousins, his nieces and nephews, and was the type of person who would have given anyone the shirt off his back. He had just begun his long-awaited retirement and he will be missed by his seven brothers and sisters, Monica (Tom) Hicks, Sharon Mellott, Greg (Sheryl) Nickol, Beth (Mark) Straub, Leslie (Victor) Bonilla, Tim Nickol, Shannon (Anna) Nickol. Special thanks to cousins Kevin Nickol and George Nickol who were always kind to Kerry. He very much enjoyed visiting with many people as he enjoyed life on the farm. He had no family of his own. He was born April 2, 1953, and was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph P. and Marjorie L. Nickol. He spent his entire life on the farm and took over farming after his father’s passing.
Vigil services will be held Friday, August 19, at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 20 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be Friday, August 19, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. All services will be at Pondera Funeral Home.
