Keith T. Melhus

Keith Thomas Melhus, 56, passed away March 9, 2017 in Conrad.

Keith was born November 3, 1960 in Great Falls to Elly Volk Noble and Gordon Melhus.  He attended school in Great Falls and graduated from CMR High School. Keith enlisted in 1981 and served in the US Air Force for two years.  Keith received two Associate Degrees in Liberal Arts and Legal Assistant from the Community College of Nevada. He spent over four years working towards degrees in psychology and sociology from the University of Montana University of Nevada, Reno. Keith could not complete his degree program due to health issues.  He was a handyman who renovated and did home repair.  Keith enjoyed golfing and working on his computer. He played the guitar which he learned at an early age.

Survivors include uncle and aunts, Roy (Diane) Volk and Barbara Nelson both of Great Falls and Joan (Leroy) Murphy of Whitehall and numerous cousins.

Keith is preceded in death by his mother, Elly Noble; grandparents, Barbara and Roy Volk, and uncle Tom Volk.
