April 23, 1939 — September 20, 2017
For my mother.
Fiercely independent, terribly stubborn woman who lived life on her terms. She had a heart of gold and had a harder life than you can imagine trying to make life better for me. My mom died the same way she lived. Her way.
Just over 2 years ago she fell and broke her back. I didn’t know how much longer she’d be with me so I moved her to Montana to be closer to me, and she loved the rugged beauty.
Kathryn will be dearly missed by her daughter, Mechelle Lewis (Myra Viola) of Shelby.
