Judy R. Larson
January 31, 1947 — November 19, 2017
Judy Rae Larson, 70, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Pondera Medical Center with her children by her side.
Memorial services will be Friday, November 24, at 1:00 PM at Pondera Valley Lutheran Church. A reception will follow at the Conrad Moose Lodge.
Judy was born January 31, 1947 in Havre to Walter and Doris Welsh. She graduated salutatorian from Hingham High School in 1965. Judy married Hugh V. Larson on February 11, 1968. They later divorced.
Judy worked at Farm Credit Service, KSEN Radio, Pondera Medical Center, and Village Drug. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, bowling, traveling, and following her kids and grandkids in sporting events. Judy was a very active member in the Community Cancer Foundation/ Karaoke for Cancer, Conrad School Board, Conrad Booster Club, Women of the Moose, and a Conrad Wrestling Club Board Member. Judy enjoyed life whether it be counting the woodpeckers on the highway and interstate, watching the Montana State Bobcats, or getting into trouble making too much noise at Turkey Bingo. She had many great friends that she loved spending time with.
Survivors include mother, Doris Welsh; children, Shari (Dennis) Richter and Scott (Randi) Larson; Grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler, Katelynn, Kyle, Shariden, and Matthew; sister, Kathy Aspevig; and too many friends to count.
She is preceded in death by her father and sister, Shelly Welsh
Judy will be remembered for her ability to make people smile and laugh.
