Joanne Lindberg

Joanne Burgess Lindberg was born March 12, 1933 in Duluth, MN. As the 7th of 8 children, she grew up in Tower, MN with siblings; Lin, Bud, Bill, Del, Jack, Bob, and Ruth. She attended school and graduated from Tower, MN and with a friend moved to Fort Worth, Texas where her brother, Jack, was stationed in the Air Force. He introduced her to a friend also in the Air Force, Glenn Lindberg. They married in Tower, MN on December 19, 1953 and moved to Cut Bank where Glenn farmed with his father.

Joanne was a great cook. She loved to bake fancy desserts and beautiful birthday cakes. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and creating ceramics. In the summer she had a garden, but her flower beds were her favorite projects. Later in life, she had a great time at the casinos where she always claimed she won! After Glenn died, she moved from the farm into Cut Bank. Joanne died on May 21, 2026 peacefully in her sleep at the BeeHive in Cut Bank.

Survivors include children, Glenda Billman, Michael Lindberg, and Mark Lindberg; grandkids, Heather Lindberg, Valerie Vermulm, Jennifer Lindberg, Jeff Billman, Brian Lindberg, and Julie Lindberg; and 7 great grandchildren.
