Jim married Lorraine Kline on April 30, 1960. Together for 48 years, they built a life rooted in love and raised three children: Lorraine, Elaine, and Michael. His deep devotion to family was evident in his tireless efforts to provide for them and in the steady guidance, wisdom, and compassion he offered throughout his life.
Jim began working in the oil field around 1958 and remained dedicated to the industry until his retirement in 2015 from Grizzly Well Service and Seymour Oil and Gas. He worked on oil rigs, service rigs, and wells—earning the respect and admiration of coworkers and community alike through his skill, perseverance, and unwavering work ethic.
In September 2009, Jim found love again with Lisa Tromblee. They were married on December 16, 2016, and shared a life filled with love, family, and travel. Jim warmly welcomed Lisa’s children, Anthony Kittle and Delyssia Tromblee, as his own. As their families grew, he became a proud grandfather to their children and found great joy in being part of their lives from the very beginning.
