Jack Rowekamp

John Herbert “Jack” Rowekamp, 88,passed away Friday, March 8, 2019.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 14, at 10:00 AM at the Pondera Valley Lutheran Church. Burial with military honors to follow in Hillside Cemetery.

Jack was born in Conrad on April 7, 1930 to Herbert and Lucille Rowekamp.  He attended Conrad High School where he played football and received the Heisey Foundation Award in 1951.  Jack married Grace Lightner in August of 1954.  He worked for the Conrad Public School District for 34 years.

Survivors include daughter, Shelly Rowekamp and son, Kevin Rowekamp both of Sunnyside, WA; brother, Donald Rowekamp; and longtime friend and companion, Wilma Young and granddaughter, Rachel.

He is preceded in death by a son, Mark Rowekamp, wife, Grace; sisters, Bernie March and Dorothy Brunner; and brothers, Dick and Bud Rowekamp.
