Gloria Jean Siebrecht, 80, passed on November 14, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Gloria was born December 27, 1940, in Columbia Falls, MT. Her parents were James Baily Schnee and Marie Van De Rite. Gloria was the youngest of 6 children. Gloria met Odell and was married February 27, 1959 and made Cut Bank their home. They were blessed with two sons.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian church where she served as an elder, choir member, women’s circles, and Sunday school teacher.
Gloria was an amateur paleontologists and volunteer for the Museum of the Rockies. She discovered the Avisaurus Gloriae which was named for her.
She loved to build puzzles and had one on her table at all times. She also enjoyed golfing, camping, boating, water skiing and snowmobiling. Odell and Gloria enjoyed going south for the winter in their retired years.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, James Schnee and Marie Kenyon, stepdad, Otis “Doc” Kenyon; brothers J.B. Schnee, Harley Schnee; sisters Shirley Asbury, Idabelle Bittner, Betty Loyette Cummings; twin great granddaughters, Amelia and Adelyn Jensen.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years Odell Siebrecht; sons Jerald (Lorrie) Siebrecht, Jeffery Siebrecht; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Great Falls Rescue Mission in her name.
A memorial service will be held December 11th at 1:00 p.m. at the Cut Bank Community Bible Church.
