At the age of 15, Gloria moved to Fort Benton, Montana, to live with relatives. She graduated from Fort Benton High School in 1947.
Gloria married Ernest Schultz Jr. on June 16, 1948. Her life was spent working on the farm with Ernie. In later years they enjoyed traveling in their RV, buying and selling children’s antique toys, and wintering in Arizona. She and Ernie moved to Conrad in September of 1998 to be near family. Ernie passed away in November of 1998. Gloria continued to live in Conrad and spent many years traveling with her sister-in-law Charlie Hardeland in their RV.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernie; and grandson, Aaron Schultz. She is survived by her children, Glenda (Pete) McKeone of Conrad and Mike (Lorri) Schultz of Loma; brother, Richard (Joanne) Morrill of Seattle; and sister-in-law, Charlie Hardeland of Conrad.
