Glenn D. Enghusen

d. January 26, 2018

Glenn D. Enghusen, 97, passed away quietly Friday, January 26, 2018 with his granddaughter Ashley Watkins by his side.  He lived a long fulfilling life filled with love, adventures, and happiness.  He was a World War II vet trained in demolition and parachute when moving off the farm at the age of 23.  After his many years of service in the military he settled into his career as a farm equipment mechanic.  He worked many years in his next adventure covering numerous different demographics in Montana until he settled into his retirement career of a lawnmower repairman in Shelby, Montana.  He loved bowling, dancing, and many trips wherever their motor home would take them with the love of his life Esther M. Enghusen for 62 years of marriage until her passing in 2009.  He was the most amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to the many people he met in his life.  He had the most contagious smile and warm heart that he shared with everyone.   He will be deeply missed by all.

Survivors include his children Chris Enghusen, Scott Enghusen, Shelly Champion, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 1, from 5 to 7pm at Whitted Funeral Chapel in Shelby. Graveside services will be Friday, February 2, at 12noon at Mountain View Cemetery.
