Glen Niels Bonde, 93, a retired oil field worker from Great Falls and former Cut Bank resident, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 at Cambridge Court in Great Falls. Private family funeral services will held at the Whitted Funeral Chapel in Cut bank, with burial will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include daughters, Connie (Bruce) Hiatt of Cana, VA and Kay (Ric) Odegard of Newman Lake, WA; son, Clyde (Jean) Bonde of Great Falls; as well as six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie in 1979; eight sisters & seven brothers.
Glen was born March 15, 1918 at Caldwell, ID to Niels & Martha (Sieber) Bonde and grew up in Star, Idaho. He married Marjorie Peppley March 14, 1939 at Payette, Idaho.
Glen was an oil field worker in the Cut Bank area for several years before his retirement.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Eagles Club. Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Peace Hospice and Cambridge Court for their support and loving care they gave our dad.
