Francis Lowell Erickson, 95, passed on September 16, 2023.
Francis was born March 22, 1928 in Conrad to Hans and Emma (Jacobson) Erickson. Francis married Lita Jean Nehls on August 12, 1956. Lita passed August 11, 2025.
He worked for John Deere, Big Sky Equipment, Cenex, and Dick Irvin Trucking.
Francis enjoyed gardening, woodworking, lawn work, and whatever work needed to be done around the farm. Francis and Lita took short trips and longer trips in the summer to visit family in Wisconsin. He was an active member of the Historical Society and served as Vice President. Francis was an instigator to redo the Conrad Centennial Clock located on the corner of Main Street and 4th Ave. He enjoyed displaying his old tractors in the Whoop Up parade.
Survivors included children, Terry Erickson and Reva Erickson, sisters, Irene Grimmer and Lee Ray.
Memorials can be made to the Conrad Clock Fund at the Conrad Historical Museum.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hans & Emma (Jacobson) Erickson; sisters, Irene Grimmer, Clara Reed and Leona Ray; and brothers, Bert, Harry. George, Art, and Lee Erickson.
Francis was buried in Pondera Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Conrad Clock Fund at the Conrad Historical Museum.
