Francis “Braz” Clarence Braz, 93, passed away surrounded by family at home on the early morning of January 14, 2020. Braz is reunited with the love of his life, Louise “Weezie” Braz.
A cremation is arranged by Asper Funeral Home and he will be laid to rest in California with Louise. A Celebration of Life luncheon will take place at the Cut Bank Moose Lodge on Sunday, January 26 at 2:00.
Braz was born in Oakland, California on April 20, 1926 to Clarence and Eva Braz. Braz grew up in California as an only child. He went into the Navy at the age of 17 and served for 4 years on aircraft carriers in the Pacific during World War II. Braz met his wife soon after and married on Aug 16, 1947. They were married for 67 years and had three children: Michael, Patrice, and Rodrick.
Braz enjoyed daily trips around Cut Bank hoping to win his fortune at the casinos. He loved both his family and shots of Crown Royal.
Braz is survived by his daughter, Patrice Braz of Cut Bank; son, Rodrick Braz (Diana) of Martinez, CA; grandchildren, Brandia Woffinden (John) of Concord, CA, Amie Lindskog of Sweet Grass, Lisa Fetters (Cody), Nicole Shook (Travis) both of Cut Bank, Rodrick, Daniel and Cole Braz of Martinez, CA; great grandchildren, Morgan, Paige, Mckenzie, Parker, Hunter, Kevin, Jacob, Brooke (Justin), Courtney (Andy), Hannah, Haylee, Harley, Hogan, Emma, Ava, Tadan and Jace; great-great grandchildren, Kayden, Hudson, and Jayde
Braz is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Eva Braz; the love of his life, Louise Braz; son, Michael Braz; granddaughter, Shannon Raymond; grandson, Robert Lindskog; grandson, Jason Momberg.
