Esther Catherine Bloede
February 27, 1936 — October 16, 2012
Esther Catherine Bloede, 76 of Shelby, passed away peacefully at her home on October 16, 2012 due to natural causes. Memorial services will be 11:00 am, Friday November 9th at the Whitted Funeral Chapel.
She is survived by sisters, Marquette Ottum of Conrad and Emma Sagen of Whitefish.
She had many children she took under her wing and lovingly called them her grandchildren. One such girl was Sandra, who Esther knew needed much more work than normal and referred to her as her daughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 9 siblings.
Esther was born February 27, 1936 at Kevin to Thomas & Martha (Hughes) Olmsted where she grew up and educated.
Over the years she had worked as a housekeeper, waitress and nurses aide.
She was a member of the LDS church and enjoyed gardening, canning, crocheting, puzzles and yahtzee.
Esther loved Jesus, and praying for others was a great blessing to her.
