Donna Mae Diedrich, 81, passed Monday, January 11, 2021.The community of Conrad lost a beautiful soul and heaven gained a wonderful person.
Donna was born to Simon and Francis Moritz on May 21, 1939 in Conrad. She was 4th born out of 11 children, whom she loved all of them dearly. She grew up on the Moritz family farm where her life of loving and taking care of people started with her brothers and sisters.
Donna married Kenneth Diedrich on April 26, 1956 and they were married for 50 fun filled years. The had 3 handsome boys, Steven, Ralph, and Terry. Then along came her beautiful daughter, Kristie, who kept Donna and Kenny on their toes.
And between the fun family shenanigans with all her family and friends, she was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. Donna was a caregiver by heart and worked in various positions doing what she loved. She was full of laughter and love for everyone but what she loved most was her grandkids which she did not have in short supply.
You could always find her playing with or teaching them something fun and adventurous. She was famous for leg wrestling, playing cards, making pickles, and sauerkraut, or tending to her beloved yard and garden always with one of the grandkids in tow. Donna could be found attending many of the sporting events of her children and grandchildren. She was their biggest fan! The grandkids nicknamed her “KG” for Killer Grandma because she was the ultimate best grandma in the world!
Donna had 15 grandkids, Jennifer, Ashlee, Kendra, Nick, Wendy, Cortney, Shelbi, Kylie, Kelsey, Seth, Tristen, Daryl, Tori, Zach, and Zane, her little buddy and helper. She had 17 great grandkids with one more due in April.
Donna is survived by her loving sons, Ralph (Kathy) and Terry (Connie); and beautiful daughter, Kristie (Mike); all her grandkids and great grandkids; brothers and sisters whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, sister; her beloved son, Steven; and loving husband, Kenny.
