Beverly Colleen Gage, age 93, of Shelby, passes away at Logan Healthcare Shelby Assisted Living on August 24, 2022.
A graveside service will be 10:00 AM on Monday, August 29 at Mountain View Cemetery in Shelby.
Bev was born to Harry and Katie (McLeod) Martin on November 8, 1928, in Great Falls, Montana. She grew up in Shelby and graduated from Shelby High School.
While working at the Roxy Movie Theater, Bev met Allan Gage, and it was love at first sight. They were married in 1949 at the Methodist Church in Shelby and were married for 66 years when Allan passed away in 2015.
Bev was long time member of the Community United Methodist Church in Shelby. She was a beloved member of our community and was a self-proclaimed “busy body”. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Lloyd) Rice of Plains, MT and Deborah Gage of Hot Springs, MT; as well as her grandchildren Brett (Jen) Petersen, Courtney (Brent) Johnsrud, Scott (Jill) Rice and Megan Rice; great grandchildren Cori Jane Rice, Hadyn Laine Rice, Thane Moench and Taison Rice. and her sister,
Bev is preceded in death by her husband, Allan; her son Jeff Allan Gage; her three brothers Lyle, Von and Jim Martin, and four sisters, Shirley Malletta, Roma Aikins, Donna Grady and Theo Bartschi.
The family suggests memorials to the Community United Methodist Church or to Northern Transit Interlocal Bus Service, both in Shelby.
