Conrad

Arthur R. Huyghe was born in Conrad on May 21, 1927 to Remi and Augusta (Feryn) Huyghe.

Arthur was raised on the family farm north of Conrad. He graduated from Conrad High school in 1945.

Arthur started farming with his father until Remi passed in l951. He then took over the whole operation

In 1963 Arthur expanded the farm by purchasing the Louie Habets farm. Ln l972 Arthur and Judith

divorced. Arthur sold most of the farm to his son, David. In 1985 Arthur married Dorothy J. Bishop

Rouns. Dorothy passed in 1994.

Arthur drove the senior surrey bus for 9 years where he met Doris F. Peterson. They were married on

July l3, 2002. Arthur enjoyed traveling and wanted to see around every corner and over the next hill. He

and Doris traveled by car to visit family and friends. He loved to see farms, wheat fields and everything
